Welcome to KlaraPix Photography & Design
Hi I’m Klara, the creative force behind KlaraPix Photography, based in Auckland, New Zealand. With nearly two decades of experience capturing moments both here and around the world, I specialize in portrait, product, and interior photography. My work spans a diverse range of subjects—from corporate headshots and family portraits to high-end furniture and lifestyle imagery for businesses of all sizes.
Photography is more than just my profession; it’s my passion. I’ve been honored with a Bronze award at the NZIPP IRIS Awards for one of my landscape photographs, and all my entries achieved professional classification. These accolades reflect my dedication to the craft and my commitment to delivering exceptional results for my clients.
My background as a professional designer has profoundly influenced my photographic approach. It has trained my eye to see beyond the obvious, allowing me to think creatively and approach each session with a fresh perspective. Whether I’m photographing a bustling event, a serene portrait, or a beautifully styled product, I strive to tell a compelling visual story that resonates with the viewer.
Some of the companies I have provided photography services over the years are: Maritimo AU, Stage Struck San Francisco, Flexform SF, HD Buttercup SF, Timothy Oultons SF, Jason D’Souza London, David Seyfried London, Burton Living Auckland, Ekko Solutions, Akl, Hermes Factory Outlet AKL, Tindalls Gardens ECE, AKL, Little Poppies AKL, Estuary Arts Centre Orewa, Petite Eats NZ, Li’l Champs NZ, and so on.
Beyond the lens, I’m also an Art Education Coordinator at the Estuary Arts Centre, Orewa. I find great fulfillment in guiding children and teens to connect with local artists, helping them discover creative pathways for growth and self-expression. This role allows me to nurture the next generation of creatives and share my love for the arts.
When I’m not behind the camera or mentoring young artists, you can find me exploring the outdoors, traveling, or enjoying time with my family. These experiences continually inspire my work and fuel my passion for photography.
My home studio is in Gulf Harbour, Whangaparoa. Having the beautiful Shakeaspeare Regional Park right next door, it is an obvious choice for many of my location shots. If I’m not working you may bump into me walking in the forest or playing on the beach with my children.
If you are after a professional photographer, please reach out to discuss your needs. I’d love to help.
I look forward to connecting with you,
Klara.
